Earl Wise is a member of CarneyKelehan’s real estate group. He has more than 30 years of experience practicing law in real estate, commercial transactions and title insurance.

Prior to joining CarneyKelehan, Mr. Wise was senior commercial counsel for Fidelity National Title Insurance Co., where he conducted large commercial closings while concentrating in title examination and commercial settlements in Maryland and Washington, D.C. He completed similar work for Liff, Walsh & Simmons/Eagle Title as well as Linowes and Blocher.

Previously, Mr. Wise was vice president and commercial underwriter for Chicago Title Insurance Co., managing partner with Commercial Title Services, counsel for First American Title Insurance Co., vice president and assistant general counsel for Beltway Title and Abstract and vice president and abstractor for Atlantic Abstracts.

He is a member of the Maryland State Bar Association and Washington D.C. Bar Association. Mr. Wise earned his law degree from the Marshall-Wythe School of Law and his bachelor’s degree in history from the College of William & Mary.
