Morgan serves as an Attorney Systems Manager and Paralegal bringing a diverse background and broad range of experience to her role. She began her legal career in 2018 as a receptionist at a Pennsylvania law firm before relocating to Maryland in 2020, where she worked on personal injury, motor vehicle accidents, and medical malpractice matters. She joined CarneyKelehan in June 2021 as a Legal Assistant and has since grown into her current dual role, supporting both the firm’s legal practice and the software systems attorneys rely upon in their day-to-day work.

As a paralegal, Morgan provides support across a wide variety of practice areas, including litigation, real estate, education, estate administration business, estate planning, zoning, and liquor licensing. She holds a bachelor’s degree in Languages and Cultures with a concentration in Arabic and Middle East Studies, as well as minors in Russian Languages and Cultures and Linguistics. She also holds certifications in both English as a Second Language (ESL) and Paralegal Studies. Her multidisciplinary background, combined with her legal and systems experience, allows her to bring an adaptable and detail-oriented approach to her work.

Outside of the office, Morgan enjoys traveling and spending time with her family. She lived in Brazil for a year and a half and is fluent in Brazilian Portuguese. She is also the proud owner of Buck and Eddie, her two fancy goldfish who reside at the office and have become beloved members of the firm. When she isn’t planning her next getaway, she can usually be found watching 9-1-1—which, perhaps not coincidentally, inspired Buck and Eddie’s names.
